Civilisation. Where people come together to trade and work. Though these were simple beginnings, what has grown from them amazes all, even to this very day. Enormous cathedrals, heaven-touching towers, vast sprawls of buildings that were built by the determination and ingenuity of man and from these, mighty empires and kingdoms grew and ruled for centuries. From here, art flourished, the scientific method developed and the world as we know it rose. It is bewildering to think that what our forefathers have created has stood the test of time, standing proudly for us to see in the modern day.
